Smirnoff Experience U.R. The Night gives you the chance to shape a night at Matter. Submit your ideas and vote on different aspects of the event - including the warm-up boat party, the DJ’s playlist and the cocktails at the bar – in exchange for free tickets. The one-off spectacular will see electro-pop pioneers The Pet Shop Boys, ably supported by hot new live act Little Boots, plus DJ sets from Hot Chip and Tom Middleton. Leaders of the UK street dance community will unite for a one-off dance performance spectacular in honour of the late Michael Jackson. Dance companies including Britain’s Got Talent finalists Flawless and Olivier Award winning Boy Blue Entertainment will descend on state of matter for a specially commissioned showcase in order to raise money for Global Charity, Amnesty International. Innovative performance pieces will focus on the record breaking Michael Jackson album back catalogue. Companies will be performing brand new choreography takes on hits such as “Thriller” and “Smooth Criminal”, highlighting just how influential the King of Pop has been across the commercial dance industry.
